Editorial policy

1. What we publish. Villavow publishes informational guides about UAE real estate: processes, costs, laws, area knowledge and safety. We do not publish listings, accept brokerage commissions, or sell placements. No advertiser or agent can change what a guide says, because there is nothing to sell them.
2. How topics are chosen. Topics and questions come from our clustered corpus of 12.1 million real search queries. We write what people demonstrably need — and each page shows its demand figure so you can judge how representative it is.
3. How facts are sourced. Official sources first: Dubai Land Department, RERA, GDRFA, Abu Dhabi’s DMT and TAMM, and the equivalent authorities in the Northern Emirates. Where a figure is a market norm rather than a published tariff (agency commission, deposits, NOC costs), we say so with hedged language — “commonly”, “typically” — and never present a market habit as a law.
4. What we refuse to do. No fabricated statistics, no invented citations, no fake precision on yields or prices, no “guaranteed ROI” language, and no unnamed “experts say”. If the corpus and official sources cannot support a claim, the claim does not run.
5. Currency and corrections. Every guide shows its last-updated date. UAE property rules change frequently; when they do, we re-verify affected guides and update the date. If you find an error, use the contact page — corrections are applied at the specific claim, not silently rewritten, and serious corrections are noted on the page.
6. AI-assisted, human-governed. Drafting is assisted by software and language models under strict instructions; topic selection, fact anchoring, hedging and final editorial judgement are human-led and governed by this policy. Our data pages disclose exactly what is machine-processed (the corpus) and what is authored (the guides).
7. Not advice. Nothing on Villavow is legal, financial, tax or immigration advice. Guides are general information for the UAE market as of their update date — verify anything that matters with the relevant authority or a licensed professional before you act.
